Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, gently combine Wagyu ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Avoid overmixing to maintain tenderness.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, pressing lightly to form a uniform shape.
  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if preferred. Avoid overcooking to retain the Wagyu’s signature juiciness.
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt slightly.
  • Toast the brioche buns lightly and assemble the burgers with lettuce, caramelized onions, and the Wagyu patties.
