Equipment

  • Oven
  • Skillet

Ingredients

  • Protein
  • 1 lb ground beef or chicken or steak or vegetarian protein
  • Taco seasoning
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Flour tortillas
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Shredded cheese
  • 1 cup Mexican blend cheese shredded
  • Nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • Avocado ranch sauce
  • 1/4 cup avocado ranch sauce

Instructions

  • Cook the protein of choice (ground beef, chicken, or steak) in a skillet over medium heat. Add taco seasoning and water as needed to create a juicy filling.
  • Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet for a few seconds on each side to make them soft and pliable.
  • Assemble the burritos by placing a generous portion of the protein filling on each tortilla. Top with shredded Mexican cheese.
  • Mix shredded cheese with nacho cheese sauce and spread or drizzle over the top of each burrito to create the 'cheesy glue'.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the burritos on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • While the burritos bake, prepare dipping sauces: pour nacho cheese sauce and avocado ranch sauce into separate bowls.
  • Once baked, slice the burritos and serve with the dipping sauces on the side for a cheesy dipping experience.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can try using different proteins or even a mix of cheeses. If you're short on time, you can prep the burritos in advance and refrigerate them until you're ready to bake!
