Beefy Melt Burrito

Ingredients
  

  • Ground Beef
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Fritos Corn Chips
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Sour Cream
  • Salsa or Hot Sauce
  • Lettuce

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, if needed, then add taco seasoning along with a little water. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes until the beef is fully coated with the seasoning and the sauce thickens.
  • Heat the flour tortillas in a dry skillet for about 20-30 seconds per side, or microwave them for 10 seconds to make them more pliable.
  • Lay the warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Add a few spoonfuls of the seasoned beef mixture to the center of the tortilla. Top with a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese and a handful of Fritos corn chips. Add a dollop of sour cream and your preferred salsa or hot sauce. Optionally, add shredded lettuce for a fresh crunch.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from one end to the other.
  • Slice the burrito in half for easier serving or enjoy it whole. Serve with extra salsa, hot sauce, or sour cream for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to swap the ground beef for chicken, turkey, or even black beans for a vegetarian version. Adjust the level of spice by adding jalapeƱos or extra hot sauce to taste.
