Baja Chipotle Sauce

This creamy, smoky, and tangy sauce is inspired by the famous Subway Baja Chipotle Sauce. It’s perfect for tacos, grilled chicken, fries, and more!

Ingredients
  

  • Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Use a hand blender or whisk to blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Adjust the seasoning to taste, adding more lime juice or chipotle peppers if you prefer extra heat.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve as a dipping sauce, drizzle over tacos, or use as a topping for grilled chicken or burgers.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more chipotle peppers or cayenne pepper. For a lighter option, replace the mayo with Greek yogurt.
